The Association has its own Golf Section which has access to the excellent facilities at the West Lancs Golf Club. It celebrated its 40th Anniversary in June 2001 and holds a Spring and Autumn Hot Pot supper as well as a Ladies' Evening. A number of competitions are held throughout the season - the Harding Trophy, the Graham
Trophy, the Association Bowl and the Williams Trophy - attracting wide support.

The Southern Area Reunion is held on the last Friday in October at the Civil
Service Club, Old Scotland Yard, Whitehall and attracts a small but loyal group of Old Boys. The meal is held in the early evening to enable people who have to travel home by train/tube to make the journey in good time. It is an event that warrants greater support. This year's reunion is on 25th October 2002.
