Football has played a major role in the life of the Association and the archives are overflowing with photographs, fixture lists, programmes, minute books and correspondence dating from 1924. Indeed, the Old Boys' Association owes it existence to the Old Boy's Football Club. The Association came into being in 1938 because the older playing members of the Football Club wanted to retain their links with the School after they had 'hung up their boots!' The closure of the School obviously had an impact on the Club but it still plays in the Zingari League. One official 'old boy' was still playing last season.
